A real-world adventure card game. You open a pack for a city — or for your own town — and it deals you a hand of Challenges, TriviaRush questions and DubDarez. You complete them out in the world, earn Miles, keep the cards you finish, and attach photos to the ones worth remembering.

Do I need an account? No. You can play the whole game without one. Creating an Explorer takes about thirty seconds and never asks for an account.

Then why sign in? One reason: so losing your phone doesn't lose your adventure. Signing in backs up your Explorer, your packs, your completed cards and your Moment photos, and brings them back on a new device.

I reinstalled and everything is gone. If you had signed in before, tap ALREADY HAVE AN ADVENTURE? on the welcome screen, sign in, and tap RESTORE. Everything comes back — including your Moment photos.

⚠️ If you never signed in, a deleted app cannot be recovered. Nothing was ever sent anywhere, so there is nothing for us to restore. We are sorry — this is genuinely unrecoverable.

Prices shown in the app are in your own currency and are set by the App Store.

I bought a pack and it didn't unlock. Open Passport → PROTECT YOUR EXPLORER → RESTORE PURCHASES. That asks Apple what you own and re-applies it. It is free and never charges you again. If it still doesn't appear, email us — include the date and roughly what time.

I got a new phone. Sign in with the same Apple ID and tap RESTORE PURCHASES. Everything you bought is tied to your Apple ID, not to a device.

Can I get a refund? Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.

Do packs expire? Never. A pack you own is yours permanently, and finishing a trip doesn't lock it — every card, Mile and Moment stays.

What are Miles? What you earn for completing cards. They're never spent — they're the record of what you've actually done. Your Level is calculated from them.

What's an 86? A veto. If a card genuinely isn't going to happen — it's closed, it's raining, it's not safe — you 86 it and a replacement is dealt. You get 3 free per trip.

Can I buy 86s with Miles? No, and this is deliberate. Miles can never be converted into anything. Extra 86s are a separate purchase.

I've run out of 86s. When you try to 86 a card with none left, the card offers 3 more for $1.99, credited to the adventure you're on.

How do I add a photo? Complete a card, then attach a photo to it. It becomes a Moment, filed with that card and destination.

Are my photos private? Yes. If you're signed in they're backed up to storage only your account can read — there's no public link. If you're not signed in they never leave your phone.

Will the app change or delete my photos? No. The photo in your library is never modified, moved or deleted.

We collect no analytics, use no advertising or tracking SDKs, and don't track you across other apps. Without an account, nothing leaves your device at all.

Delete my account and data: email us from the address you signed in with and we'll delete your backup and stored photos. Deleting the app does not delete a cloud backup — that has to be requested.

ExploreIRL sends you into the real world. Play smart, stay safe, follow local laws. Don't trespass, don't do anything you're not comfortable with, and don't complete a card if it isn't safe right now — that's what 86s are for.

Some cards reference alcohol and are marked. Only take those on if you're of legal drinking age where you are, and never drink and drive.
